Hi, I’m Roberta. I grew up in Argentina, live in the Netherlands, and I’m the person behind Roberta Amsterdam.

The name is quite literal: Roberta because this is personal, Amsterdam because this is where the brand began.

The jewelry I couldn’t find

Jewelry has always been my easiest way to change an outfit. Same shirt, different earrings, completely different mood.

I love statement pieces, and I change my jewelry with my mood. What I kept missing was the combination of distinctive design, quality you can feel and versatility. I wanted pieces that feel special, work with what you already own and are made to be reached for again and again. That is why 925 sterling silver is the core of the collection.

Eventually I thought: if I can’t find the collection I have in my head, maybe I should build it.

One piece at a time

I was working in finance within the fashion industry at the time, so I knew there was a lot behind a product that looks simple. What I didn’t know was how many tiny decisions I would end up caring about.

I started learning more about materials, construction, fit and all the details you only really notice once you put a piece on. Does the cuff stay in place? Can I wear the earring for hours? Does the stone catch the light without feeling like too much?

For me, how a piece feels matters just as much as how it looks. The fit, the finish and the way it moves with you are all part of that.

For every side of you

I don’t dress the same way every day, and I don’t think most women do. Some days one ear cuff is enough. Some days more is more.

The collection brings together subtle details and bold statement pieces, with some designs offering more than one way to wear them. It’s made in small batches, with 925 sterling silver at its core.

For me, timeless doesn’t mean plain. It means you can love a design just as much next season—or years from now.

Roberta Amsterdam is an independent brand, and I’m personally involved in the details—from answering your questions to preparing your order here in the Netherlands.

One of my favorite parts is seeing how you wear the jewelry. Customers send me photos, and seeing a familiar name on a new order still makes me smile.

I want every package to feel like opening a gift, even when you bought it for yourself.

Because jewelry doesn’t need a special occasion. Sometimes it’s the thing that makes an ordinary day feel a little more like you.
